Bringing Your Questions to Jesus After Dark
A question can be a place to begin. You might understand some parts of the Christian faith and still wonder how they fit together. You can open the Bible with those questions honestly.
You must be born again.

Nicodemus, a Pharisee and member of the Jewish ruling council, visited Jesus at night. He recognized that God was at work through Jesus, but Jesus led their conversation further: entering God’s kingdom requires new birth by the Spirit. Nicodemus asked how this could happen. Jesus pointed toward His own coming death and the eternal life received through believing in Him.
Stay with what Jesus says
This conversation draws us toward the heart of the Gospel. New life begins with God’s work. The Son was given in love so that those who believe in Him may have eternal life.
Read John 3:1–17 at a pace that lets you notice both Nicodemus’s questions and Jesus’ answers. Write down one question you want to understand more clearly. Bring it into prayer, then ask a trustworthy pastor or mature Christian to read the passage with you.
If someone brings you a question about faith, receive it kindly. You can take time to study before answering. Patient attention to Scripture is a gift you can offer each other.
The aim is to know and trust the Jesus who speaks here. Let the conversation keep leading you back to Him.
A prayer
Father, thank You for loving the world and giving Your Son. Help us listen to Jesus, understand Your Word, and trust the new life You give through Him. Amen.
