Hebrews 10:24-25 in Context: The Church That Encourages
Faith was never meant to be carried alone. Hebrews gives us a picture of believers paying close attention to one another.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, but encouraging one another.
(Hebrews 10:24-25, NIV)
Read it in context
Because Jesus has opened the way to God, Hebrews calls believers to draw near, hold firmly to hope, and consider how to strengthen one another as they gather.
What Scripture says
Christian community is active and thoughtful. We keep showing up, encourage weary faith, and stir one another toward love and good works because God is faithful.
Carry it into today
Notice who has been missing, quiet, or carrying more than usual. Send a message, make a place at the table, or offer practical help. Let encouragement be specific enough to remind them they belong.
A prayer
Faithful God, make us a church that draws near to You and notices one another. Teach us to gather, encourage, and move together toward love and good works. Amen.
