The Sacredness of Ordinary Moments

You might be waiting for the big moments. The milestones. The days that feel significant. And in the waiting, it's easy to miss the sacredness of right now. The ordinary Tuesday. The quiet morning. The small conversation that won't be remembered tomorrow.

But God is in the ordinary.

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24, NIV)

I used to think that God showed up in the extraordinary. In the big prayers answered, the dramatic moments, the times when everything felt significant. But I'm learning that He's just as present in the everyday rhythms of life. In the making of breakfast. In the sound of laughter. In the moment you pause and take a breath.

The ordinary is not the absence of meaning. It's the place where meaning lives. Where faithfulness is practiced. Where love is shown in small, repeated acts that no one else will ever applaud.

God made this day. Not just the big days. This one.

What ordinary moment today can you receive as a gift from God?
