Baby Sign Language

Did you know Baby Sign Language helps babies communicate their needs long before they can speak?

With each of our boys, we started signing American Sign Language (ASL) with them at birth. All 3 began signing "change diaper" back to us around 4 months. Around 6 months, they could sign "milk" "more" (as shown here tapping fingers together) "eat" "bath" "all done" "dog" "please" and so much more! It was incredible!

One of my top tips to new mamas is to learn the basics of ASL and sign with their baby!

You can learn ASL on your own time via youtube or videos like SigningTime, and you have nothing to loose.
