Shipping
When will my order ship?
We pack orders every Tuesday, and packages leave our Texas studio Tuesday or Wednesday. Tracking is emailed as soon as your order ships.
How long does delivery take?
Carrier and transit time vary by destination and service. Available delivery estimates are shown during checkout, and tracking lets you follow the package once it leaves us.
Can I change an order after placing it?
We cannot guarantee changes after checkout. Please review your items and shipping address before placing your order. If you notice a mistake, email hello@modernburlap.com as soon as possible.
Returns + Order Issues
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for preference, sizing, or change of mind. Any statutory consumer rights that apply to your purchase remain unaffected.
What if something arrives damaged, defective, or not what I ordered?
Email hello@modernburlap.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos that show the issue. When we made a mistake or an item arrived with a qualifying defect or damage, our first choice is to replace it. If a replacement is not possible, we may issue a refund.
International Orders
International shipping is available to many destinations. Availability and rates vary by product and destination and are shown at checkout. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, international sales are final. Customers are responsible for duties or taxes due upon delivery unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Product Questions
Are products labeled organic certified organic?
Certification varies by product. When a product is GOTS certified, we state that on the product listing. Please rely on the material and certification details on the specific product page you are considering.
Why does Modern Burlap use muslin and black and white designs?
Muslin and high contrast design have been part of Modern Burlap from the beginning. Read Why Muslin + Black and White for the simple, evidence based explanation and the limits of what we claim.
Will a sold out item return?
Availability varies. Some pieces return and others are part of a final run. If a product page offers a back in stock signup, you can use it to hear about a return, but signing up does not guarantee a restock. You can also browse current Modern Burlap Originals or check our Authorized Retailers, whose assortments may differ from ours.
Do you accept custom requests?
We do not currently accept custom product requests unless a listing specifically offers personalization.
