SHIPPING

We process all orders in-house in the Modern Burlap barn, and it is our goal to process your order for shipping within 2 business days. 

During high volume times such as sales, holidays, or new product launches, please allow up to 7 business days for order processing.

We are a small team, and we are NOT able to change your order in any way after it is placed.  

It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct mailing address at the time of order.  Modern Burlap are not responsible for packages returned to sender due to an incorrect address. Packages returned to Modern Burlap due to incorrect address will only be reshipped after customer pays for shipping fees again.

MISSING PACKAGES

Modern Burlap is not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered but not receive.  If your package is missing, please reach out to the courier to check the gps geo-tag of the delivery scan and escalate an investigation on your end.  Unfortunately, we are not able to track down on our end. 

Packages that are lost by USPS will be replaced after two weeks of non-movement for domestic packages and 10 weeks for international. We do not issue refunds on lost packages.  If you have any questions about your package you can contact USPS at their main customer service number:  1 (800) 275-8777. 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders may be subject to duties and/or taxes.  These fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. International orders may take up to 6 to 8 weeks for delivery depending on country, though can be as quick as 1-2 weeks depending on your countries customs.   

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Modern Burlap does not accept returns or exchanges for any items beginning with orders placed May 25, 2018. The one exception to this rule is defects. Items with defects can be returned if you contact modernburlapshipping@gmail.com within 2 days of delivery.  In the case of a defect, we will provide you a return shipping label promptly and ship out a replacement when we receive your return. Your original item MUST be returned to us before we can issue a replacement. 

Where are your products made? 

All of our muslin items are designed in the United States and made ethically in China or via Faire Trade in India.  All apparel items are made via Fair Trade in India.  Many of our items are made in small batch runs of 100 or less, and there are never guarantees of restocks.

Are your items organic?

Yes, all items listed as organic are 100% GOTS certified organic.

Are your inks on your blankets and apparel safe?

Always!  All Modern Burlap materials undergo third-party testing to ensure that they meet all CPSC safety requirements. Safety is important to our family, and I design these products with my children in mind.

Do you take Custom Requests? 

We are unable to take custom requests at this time, though it is something we hope to do as we grow.  Children's products carry a lot of liability, and all of our products go through extensive safety testing prior to launch.
