Psalm 67: Praying for God's Goodness to Be Known
A prayer can begin with the people nearest us and grow outward. Psalm 67 asks for God’s gracious care with the hope that His ways and salvation will become known among the nations.

The psalm connects a request for blessing with the worldwide knowledge of God. It calls the nations to joy because He governs justly and guides them. Thanksgiving for the harvest belongs within this larger invitation to praise and reverence.
Let your prayer reach another community
Choose a community beyond your usual circle and learn enough to pray thoughtfully. You might begin with a church or ministry your own congregation knows and supports.
Ask for people to hear the good news of Jesus clearly, for local believers to grow in faith, and for wise care where there is need.
Give attention to the people doing the work locally. Their knowledge and relationships can help you understand how encouragement or practical support would be useful.
Then return to a nearby opportunity. Welcome a neighbor, listen across a cultural difference, or share Scripture with someone who wants to read it. Prayer for the nations can sit alongside faithful care for the person within reach.

Gracious God, make Your saving work in Jesus known among the nations. Strengthen local churches, guide those who serve, and help us care with humility. Grow our prayers and our love beyond the circle we already know. Amen.
