Fatherhood

I am grateful to parent beside a man who gives so much of himself to our family.

When I look at my husband, I see a father who:

• Makes time for his children
• Cares about the life we are building together
• Shares the ordinary work of home and family
• Takes fatherhood seriously
• Keeps asking how he can love us better

It is easy to make gratitude more complicated than it needs to be. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer is a clear sentence: “I see what you are doing, and I appreciate you.”

Those words matter. Say them often.

To every dad giving fatherhood his best, we see you and we appreciate you.

To my husband, thank you for the visible work and the quiet work. We love you.
