The Swiss Cross Organic Swaddle is a 47 x 47-inch organic cotton muslin blanket in one of our earliest signature black-and-white prints. Its graphic pattern pairs easily with a colorful nursery or a quiet neutral palette, while the lightweight, machine-washable fabric makes it useful beyond the first photograph.

Made for everyday family life

Founded by mother Samantha Lischka, Modern Burlap began with the pieces she wished existed for her own family. Care + safe use

For sleep, place baby on their back on a firm, flat sleep surface. Stop swaddling at the first signs of trying to roll. Keep the face uncovered and loose blankets out of the sleep space. Leave room for hips and legs to move and avoid overheating. Supervise awake use. Do not drape the blanket over a stroller or car seat. Read the American Academy of Pediatrics' swaddling guidance.
