A Prayer While Waiting for Results
There is a particular kind of fear in the space between a test and an answer.
Scripture gives us somewhere to bring that fear while we wait.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1, NIV
Father, You know what we do not know yet. Keep my thoughts anchored in You instead of in every possible outcome.
Give wisdom to the people reading the results. Give clarity where clarity is possible. Give courage for each truthful next step.
Whatever the news brings, keep me close to what You have revealed about Yourself. Romans 8 says that nothing in all creation can separate those who are in Christ from Your love.
Help me wait with wisdom, courage, and trust. Show me what I can responsibly do and help me place the unknown in Your hands.
