Giving Quietly and Letting God See
You see a way to help someone. Before the gift becomes a story to tell, pause and consider what would serve the person with the most care.
so that your giving may be in secret.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches His disciples to give before their Father rather than seeking admiration. He directs their attention to God, who sees hidden acts of generosity. The teaching searches the motive behind a good deed as well as the deed itself.
Let the recipient’s care guide the details
Ask what would actually be useful and choose a respectful way to offer it. A private conversation can make room for the person to accept, decline, or suggest something different.
Keep personal details within the circle needed to provide help. If others are involved in organizing a gift, share information with the recipient’s permission and handle it thoughtfully.
Notice any desire to be praised for what you are doing, and bring it honestly to Jesus. Ask Him to grow a willing love that can serve without an audience.
You may be able to leave a practical gift, cover an agreed need, or support a trusted effort quietly. The Father sees, and the person receiving help can remain the focus of your attention.
A prayer
Jesus, purify the motives behind my giving. Help me notice what would serve my neighbor and offer it with humility. Teach me to honor the Father in quiet generosity and protect the dignity of those receiving care. Amen.
