When You Do Not Feel Like Showing Up

There are good things we will not always feel like doing.

Keeping a promise. Serving someone. Returning to prayer. Doing honest work. Fulfilling a responsibility after the initial motivation is gone.

Galatians 6:9 encourages believers to keep doing good without growing weary. Faithfulness often looks ordinary: one true next step, then another.

Jesus was perfectly obedient to the Father. The Gospels also show Him withdrawing to pray, moving from one place of ministry to another, and living with clear purpose rather than being directed by every demand around Him.

When a responsibility is clear, ask God for strength to persevere. When a decision requires wisdom, pray, seek counsel, consider the people entrusted to your care, and choose with honesty and humility.
