When Obedience Feels Small

Maybe you thought obedience would look bigger. More significant. More visible. But what God is asking you to do feels small. Ordinary. Like it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

But I don't think there's such a thing as small obedience to God.

"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much." (Luke 16:10, NIV)

Faithfulness is not measured by the size of the task. It's measured by the heart that does it. And when you do the small things with a heart turned toward God, those small things become acts of worship.

God is not looking for grand gestures. He's looking for steady faithfulness. For the willingness to do what He asks, even when it feels like it doesn't matter. Even when no one else sees.

The small things are not small to God.

What small act of obedience is God asking of you today?
