A Prayer for the Mother Who Is Tired

Some tired is solved by sleep. Some tired follows you into the morning.
In Matthew 11:28–30, Jesus calls the weary and burdened to come to Him and take His yoke. His invitation is not a promise that every responsibility disappears, but it directs weary people to Christ rather than to self-sufficiency.
Jesus, I am tired.
You know the work I did today, the things I forgot, the patience I lost, the needs I could not meet, and the ways I tried to love my family.
Forgive me where I sinned. Give me wisdom for what truly needs attention and what can wait. Help me receive help without pride and rest without neglecting what You have clearly required of me.
Teach me to love my family faithfully, to repent when I am wrong, and to depend on Your grace rather than treating exhaustion as proof of faithfulness.
Give rest where rest is wise. Give endurance where responsibility cannot be postponed. Use the people around me to help bear burdens that should not be carried alone.
When I begin to measure this day only by what I accomplished, remind me that salvation is by grace through faith, not by works. Keep my eyes on Christ and make me faithful in what is actually before me.
