Finding Christian Community After Graduation
After graduation, the people who once shared your everyday rhythm may be living on different schedules or in different cities. Christian community can take a new shape as you begin this part of life.
encouraging one another

Hebrews grounds its call to community in the access to God opened through Jesus’ sacrifice and priesthood. Believers are urged to draw near, hold firmly to hope, and gather to encourage one another toward love and good works.
Take one step toward shared faith
Look for a local church that faithfully teaches Scripture and keeps Jesus and His saving work at the center. Ask a trusted pastor or mentor for help as you begin.
When you visit, introduce yourself and ask how people learn, pray, and serve together. Give yourself time to understand the community and its care.
Keep a few relationships from the season you are leaving. A regular conversation can help you stay encouraged while new friendships grow.
Consider what you can offer as well as what you hope to receive. Learning names, showing up consistently, and taking part in an appropriate shared task can help faith become part of your new weekly rhythm.
A prayer
Jesus, thank You for opening the way for us to draw near to God. Guide graduates toward faithful churches and caring friendships. Help them keep learning Your Word and encourage others in love as this new season begins. Amen.
