Sharing Scripture With Someone Who Is Learning
There is kindness in making time for someone’s Bible question. A patient conversation can give a learner room to understand a passage, ask again, and see how Christian faith is lived.

Paul urges Timothy to draw strength from Christ’s grace and entrust the teaching he has received to reliable people who can teach others. The passage concerns faithful transmission of the gospel and the endurance required in ministry.
Make learning a shared, careful practice
If someone asks for help reading Scripture, choose a manageable passage together. Read the surrounding verses and notice who is speaking, to whom, and about what.
Explain what the text says before offering your application. Invite questions and say honestly when you need to study further.
Seek help from faithful church leaders and reliable resources when a question needs more attention. Let learning remain connected to the life and teaching of the church.
Pray together about responding to what you understand. A patient teacher keeps directing attention toward Jesus and the truth of His word, making space for another person to learn with care.
A prayer
Jesus, strengthen us in Your grace as we learn and share Scripture. Give us patience, accuracy, humility, and faithful teachers. Help each conversation lead toward clearer understanding and loving obedience to You. Amen.
