You've been praying. You've been asking. You've been believing that God hears you and that He will answer. And still, nothing has changed. The door has not opened. The clarity has not come. The answer is still wait.
And waiting feels like nothing.
"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." (Psalm 27:14, NIV)
I wish I could tell you that waiting gets easier. That there's a trick to it or a way to make it feel less heavy. But what I've learned is that waiting is just hard. And sometimes the only thing you can do is keep waiting.
Waiting is not nothing. It's something. It's the space where trust is built. Where faith becomes more than a feeling and turns into a choice. Where you learn that God's timing is not always what you expected, but it's still His.
You don't have to wait perfectly. You don't have to wait without frustration or doubt or weariness. You just have to keep waiting.
What are you waiting for today? Can you hold it with open hands?
