Walking in the Dark

You don't know what comes next. You cannot see the path ahead. You've been praying for clarity, for direction, for some sign that you're going the right way. And still, it feels like you're walking in the dark.

But you're not walking alone.

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." (Psalm 119:105, NIV)

I've been in seasons where I wanted the whole map. Where I wanted God to show me the full picture before I took the next step. But that's not usually how He works. He gives enough light for the next step. And that's all.

Not the full picture. Not the five-year plan. Just the next faithful step in front of you.

Walking in the dark is not a sign that you're lost. It's a sign that you're learning to trust. To believe that God is leading even when you cannot see where you're going.

What is the next step God is asking you to take, even if you cannot see what comes after?
