Psalm 121 reminds us that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
A prayer
Father, thank You for this mother and the child in her arms.
Give her strength for the hours that feel long, wisdom for the decisions that feel new, and people who will care for her as she cares for her baby.
Help her receive rest and practical help with gratitude. Give her patience when she is tired, courage when she is unsure, and joy in the small moments she may someday miss.
Keep her close to Your Word. Remind her that her help comes from You, and let the love of Christ steady her through these early days.
