When Tomorrow Is Taking Over Today
Sometimes our minds live tomorrow before our bodies ever get there.
Planning can be wise. And in Matthew 6:25–34, Jesus gives anxious hearts something even better than a perfect plan: the care of our heavenly Father.
Jesus reminds His disciples that the Father knows what they need. He calls them to seek first God’s kingdom and righteousness and to receive today as the day in front of them.
That lets us prepare responsibly for what we can foresee while entrusting what we cannot control to God.
Today still holds real obedience: love God, love your neighbor, tell the truth, fulfill your responsibilities, pray, and seek first His kingdom.
What part of tomorrow can you entrust to the Father so you can be present to what He has given you today?
