Maybe you've been living in tomorrow. Planning for it. Worrying about it. Trying to control it. And in all of that, you've missed today. The gift that is already here. The grace that is already given.
God gives you today. Not tomorrow. Today.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:34, NIV)
You cannot live two days at once. You cannot be present in today while your mind is in tomorrow. And God doesn't ask you to. He asks you to be here. To receive what He is giving you right now.
Today has enough. Enough grace. Enough strength. Enough of God's presence to meet what is in front of you. You don't have to borrow worry from tomorrow.
Be here. In this day. In this moment.
What worry about tomorrow do you need to release so you can be present today?
